About the event
Here at Kaleidoscope Learning, we are a little obsessed with fine motor skills. Why, you may ask? Well, helping children develop their fine motor muscles sets them up for success in so many arenas. Indeed, academic, practical, and artistic pursuits all require strong fine motor manipulation.
The great news is that activities that promote fine motor skills are easy and fun to implement at home! During this parent education night, our early childhood expert Julia will share the science behind the importance of fine motor skills in children as young as 10 months and as old as 5 years old. Then, parents will assemble their very own sensory bins to take and use at home with their children! (Who doesn't love a good make-and-take?)
Additional Details:
Childcare will be provided by Monarch Montessori School staff for children ages 2 and up. Children who are too young for the childcare option can be brought along to the class.
**We limit sign up to 10 families**
*Kaleidoscope Learning is located inside Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church. We recommend families park in the south parking lot (along Idaho Avenue) and enter the main doors. Follow the signs to reach our space. Watch this video for more detailed instructions to find our space.
