About the event
Kaleidoscope Learning will be hosting our first Virtual Family Symposium on Tuesday, March 21st at 6:00pm: "Raising Readers: How to Promote Early Literacy at Home." Lead by Montessori educator Julia Kallmes, families will learn the ins and outs of promoting reading and early literacy to young learners.
Reading opens the doors to a world of imagination and learning. Julia will go through the basics of how children learn to read before delving into how we, as adults, can promote early literacy. This symposium is perfect for parents and caregivers who want to explore research-based strategies that fit into the daily life of the home.
