Early Childhood Focus Group

As Kaleidoscope looks to chart our path forward, we want to begin by listening. Periods of uncertainty and change in our communities—COVID being a recent example—have shown us how deeply young children and their families are affected when stability feels fragile. In this moment, we believe it’s especially important to pause, listen, and learn together.

We’re bringing together parents, family members, caregivers, educators, nonprofit partners, and community members to ask a few big questions: What is missing in the early childhood ecosystem on the East Side of St. Paul? What do families and caregivers raising young children truly need right now? And how can we, as a community, better support young children and the adults who care for them during times of uncertainty?
